  I have never wrote a review in my life. I've always figured if you don't like the service, then don't use it. Well... I'm writing this in hopes to save anyone from the experience I had @ Economy Storage .
  My house burned down in the spring & I got a small storage space here to hold what little I salvaged from the fire. They were offering a good special & I needed to save as much as I could since I lost nearly everything I've ever owned. The owner informed me I needed a circular lock & he had them for sale. I've read that it's best to use your own because a storage facility that sells their own locks could have a master key to open it without your consent. So I passed on buying a lock from him & bought my own.
  All was well until 2 weeks after renting the unit I get a call from the owner informing me my unit had been broken into! Unfortunately ( on many, many, levels) I had totaled my truck that same week, so I was unable to go investigate the unit for 2 weeks. When I met w/the owner he started to imply I had broke into the unit & that his insurance wouldn't cover any of my stolen items! Also, there were no cameras & my unit ( The smallest offered) was the only one to be burglarized. I would think a thief would target the largest first since it would hold more & increase their haul. I just found that suspicious.
  I decided I would take what was left & take my business elsewhere. I asked for a prorated bill for the month ( I figured it was the least he could do since everything that had transpired). He declined my request.
  I hope this doesn't happen to any more of his customers, but I have a feeling it will if you don't use his lock. He gives off a very creepy vibe. Like break into a women's houses & smells their panties creepy! I'll leave you to decided yourself, but proceed w/caution!!!!
